Protect Our Planet Nonprofit Organization Worldwide (POP-NOW) is a student-run organization that aims to increase knowledge and recognition of global warming and other environmental concerns by holding exciting events that increase awareness and promote sustainable living. The club also engages in a variety of fundraising events to benefit The Alliance for Climate Protection and other major environmental organizations. POP-NOW is run internationally across 5 countries and 86 universities and recently received its charter to operate as an official club at UVa.
