Sustainability Advocates

The Sustainability Advocacy Program is part of UVA Sustainability through Facilities Management.  The program strives to promote awareness and participation in sustainability at UVA through meetings, event participation, and volunteer opportunities.  1st Year students as well as upperclassmen can apply to represent their dorm area and encourage participation of fellow residents to take part in sustainable activities.  Off-grounds students can also apply, and can assist in flyering in libraries and coffee areas as well as help out at UVA Sustainability events.  The Sustainability Advocacy Program is a great way for new students to get involved with sustainability on Grounds and learn more about how to promote green habits.

For more information please contact Hannah Mangum at hlm9e@virginia.edu or Kelly Farmer at ktf3tb@virginia.edu.
