G.I.F.T.

The Green Initiatives Funding Tomorrow (GIFT) Grants Allocation program is a new way to secure grants for sustainable initiatives around grounds.  The program and its committee have been given the responsibility of distributing $30,000 to be used for sustainable projects at the University of Virginia.  Any University member may apply for it: students, faculty or staff, or student organizations.  Projects must include student participation.  All $30,000 has to go, so multiple projects will be funded during this inaugural year.

Interested in applying?  Check out the “GIFT Project Proposal Criteria” and “GIFT Application” below.  These two documents will help you start the application process and eventually submit your proposal.  Grant applications will be due November 15th, 2012.  Preference may be given to applications submitted earlier.

Questions about the program or applying for a grant?  Email Bonnie Pascal at bnp6bf@virginia.edu.  Grant applications should be emailed to this address as well.
