The Green Initiatives Funding Tomorrow (GIFT) Grants Allocation program is a new way to secure grants for sustainable initiatives around grounds.  The program and its committee have been given the responsibility of distributing $30,000 to sustainable projects at the University of Virginia.  Any University member may apply for funding, including students, faculty and staff, or student organizations.  Multiple projects will be funded each year.

Interested in applying?  You can find proposal criteria and the grant application on GIFT’s website: http://www.uvastudentcouncil.com/gift-2/. Grant applications will be due November 15th, 2013. Stay up-to-date by checking out GIFT’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/GreenInitiativesFundingTomorrow.
